How to Grow

From seed

Sow lettuce seeds into each planting hole in the ground, cover lightly with soil.

Or grow up in trays of seed raising mix.

From seedling

When 3-4 cm high, transplant into the soil.

Follow the row space and seedling sow depth instructions.

Water in your seedlings well.

In a pot

Choose pot 20cm wide and deep.

Position in full sun.

Follow seed-> seedling -> harvest guide.

Ready to harvest

Harvest lettuce once leaf size is to your taste (Lettuce will survive with 3/4 leaves left).

Harvest in the morning or evening or lettuce will go droopy.

Plunge into cold water after harvesting and dry off to prolong lasting.

Collect seed

The easiest way to collect lettuce seeds is to carefully pinch the flower heads off the plant, and drop them into a bucket or bag.

Once you get them inside, break apart the flower heads and the lettuce seeds will fall out.

Lettuce seeds are small, flat and oval-shaped.
